Hogwarts Legacy gives Harry Potter fans the chance to live their wizarding dreams. Set in the 1800s, the game lets you explore a beautifully rendered Hogwarts, fly on a broomstick, and cast spells in duels. The story, while serviceable, takes a backseat to exploration and character progression. The magical combat is surprisingly satisfying, and crafting potions or taming beasts adds variety. However, repetitive side quests and lack of moral complexity are downsides. Despite these flaws, Hogwarts Legacy succeeds as a magical sandbox for fans of the franchise.
